Fe for a Cure was a point to point 5K Race/Walk down Santa Fe Avenue through historic downtown Salina to benefit breast cancer patients at Tammy Walker Cancer Center. The race started here at SJMS. It was a glorious day to run/walk, and a lot of intention was put around the survivors, and honoring those who have died from the disease. As mentioned by President England, breast cancer has affected each and every person here at St. John’s and we’re honored to be a part of such an amazing and worthwhile event. We had several staff participate and support the event. Pictured here are Pam Kraus, our very own President England, and our School Photographer and Art Teacher Mr. Scott Wiedeman, whom we had to post a picture of since he is most often behind the lens! Pictures posted on Zenfolio are available for purchase. Click here to view.
